Hey Anthony,

Great post you have here! When i first got into network marketing I had a hard time dealing with objections. I couldn't understand why anyone could turn down something as great as the product/services I offered. As time went on, I realize that I wasn't asking enough questions that pertains to the prospect. The key here is to ask and really really listen to the needs and wants of the prospect, and once you do that they will be more open to what you have to offer.

When I am talking with someone I try to find out why they showed an interest in the first place. If it is a strong enough reason then usually we can overcome the objection together.

Hi Anthony,
great post about objections. Do you know that ? You handle objection after objection, and your client brings up a new one ? I think the most important part of handling objections is to tell whether it's a true objection - which is OK - or an excuse - which is not OK. I do that by asking something like that" Let's assume your issue would be solved (e.g. price), would you then take it and use it ?" If the prospect does say "yes" quickly, it's really an objection, if he or she is reluctant with an answer, chances are it's a mere excuse - then I let him or her go. Excellent post Anthony.

The "don't have enough money" rejection came up quite a bit when I first spoke to prospects. General lack of decisiveness is another root cause of objection. One thing to keep in mind is that rejection is never about you! It's always about that person's beliefs, etc, so don't take it personally. Just learn from the experience, tighten up your communication skills and eventually you will find the perfect matches.

I discovered that listening was the #1 skill to have in dealing these objections along with making myself familiar with the list of common objections which you skillfully provided.

When prepared for specific objections you know how to handle them effectively during a live phone call.
